FAQ: I can’t start my main/official exam. How do I solve this?

If you registered your exam voucher but can’t start your main/official exam, multiple causes are possible.

  1. You’ve not taken any practice exams yet. The main exam will become available after you take at least one practice exam.
  2. Your Identity still needs to be validated. This can take up to 24h. On the certification page, under the title “main exam,” you’ll see the message: Your identity will be validated soon. Until then, you can only take practice exams and not main exams.
  3. You are using a voucher that has expired. You can check the expiry date of your voucher on the certification page under the title main exam. If the voucher is expired, contact your voucher provider to find a solution.
  4. You used all attempts on the voucher. You can check how many attempts you have left on the voucher you registered on the certification page under the title main exam. Usually, there is only one official exam attempt per voucher.
  5. You are using a voucher for in-person invigilation, and your invigilator still needs to approve your exam session. On the certification page, under the title main exam, you’ll see the message: This is an in-person invigilated exam and can be taken in the presence of your trainer or another invigilator." If you are supposed to do the exam with remote proctoring, contact your training organization to get a new voucher.
